0 notes June 4, 2012 misconception of what is hip hop/rap My primary issue with all the posts on how hip hop has changed in image and fasion which is ever changeing and the fact that alot of artists with actual subject matter aren't receiving the recognition they are due . my issue is more so with the artist that lack the basic capability to rap with an exception of Waka Flocka Flame only becaused my opinion is biased and I realy enjoy his music and it's great for the gymn "I don't realy care". But the misconseption is fasion and music do go hand in hand but are at the same time totally differant so because of skinny jeans are on an artist shouldn't take away from their ability in anybodies eyes for the simple fact his pants aren't composeing any music of any sort as far as I'm aware of and if they are I wan't those pants "thats like half the job" . Also there is alot of artists that are very talented but don't get the funding or are just recently geting the funding they deserve for example Hopsin who is very talented , and who has delt with his fair share of problems early on in his career but also him being the more outspoken type (also in that catagory ofwgktadgaf), could shed light on the industry for the perspective a rookie. I've overheard the saying it's more then the music . which could be a reason alot of other artists don't make it, due to conflict or lack there of. I don't tend to give out negative comments towards any artist due to the fact alot of people don't talk kindly to criticism "some just aren't built for this" but alot of the hood artist can't rap but dress alot like they did in the mid 90's to full circle prove what I said to begin with .
